Selecting a specific Project Category showing only worklogs for current user in Timesheet Reports and Gadgets for Jira Server
Problem
If you try to generate a report selecting a Project category instead of the project itself on the Projects field parameter will show only the worklogs for the current user instead of showing worklogs for all the users on the projects that has the Project Category on it.
How to solve it?
Solution
The reason for this is because since a project category can be shared with multiple projects, in order for the report to not overload with information, the report will show, as standard, only for current user.
To see worklogs for other users you can select "*any Group” in Groups fields as shown in this screenshot below:
