It is now possible allow to Log/Edit/Delete Work within the specified time in the past only. By default user can log against any date. With settings described it is possible to block closed period.
Please note, It is possible log hours against any date via Jira native Log Work dialog. To block this backdoor admin have to change Time Tracking provider to Timesheet/Time Reports provided time tracking.
