How do I configure additional parameters in the report to see more different details?

For all views of Timesheet Reports and Gadgets, additional information are available for more detailed view.

Available next options:

  • Group by Field
  • Categorize by Field
  • Additional Fields

Let's consider each options in more detail.

Group by Field allows you to group report rows by such criteria as Epic Name, Creator, Worked User, Status etc.

Categorize by Field allows you to get an additional level of hierarchy in rows from Group by Field.

Additional fields allow to display complementary columns which need to be analyzed or viewed.

Accumulate hours over issues

Sum SubTasks report configuration option makes reports to aggregate logged hours and any numeric Additional Fields into parent task, using native Jira SubTasks feature, and optionally Jira Software Epic Links, and optionally custom Issue Linking, see corresponding options in Plugin Configuration.

Alternatively, using Group By report option,views aggregate logged hours and any numeric Additional Fields for the grouped issues, and display in corresponding report section. Also using Collapse groups option, it's possible to get overall total.

Finally, report total section beside summing up logged hours, aggregates any numeric Additional Fields too.
